Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of data and contribute to the overall success of our data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures (e.g., databases, large-scale processing systems, data lakes).
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Design and implement efficient and secure data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Optimize and troubleshoot data infrastructure performance.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
